Gyoza Ichiba
A moment to unwind in the city.
Set along Hongo-dori, Gyoza Ichiba offers a relaxed Chinese dining experience, serving everything from plump, well-seasoned pan-fried gyoza and tongue-numbing mapo noodles to hearty set lunches and all-you-can-drink party courses.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
The restaurant's signature pan-fried gyoza feature thick, chewy wrappers stuffed generously with well-seasoned filling. In addition to the classic dumplings, the menu offers varied takes such as shiso leaf, prawn, and garlic gyoza, making it easy to order according to personal preference. Paired with a cold draft beer or a refreshing shochu sour, enjoying these piping-hot dumplings makes for an easygoing, satisfying meal.
For heartier mains, the kitchen turns out dishes with bold flavours, including spicy, numbing mapo noodles, sizzling stone-cooked mapo tofu sets, and aromatic mixed fried rice. During lunchtime, diners can choose from affordable, filling specials such as noodle-and-half-fried-rice sets and daily set meals with complimentary large rice servings.
With spacious table seating throughout, the open dining room works just as well for solo lunches as it does for after-work drinks or group get-togethers. In the evening, all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink courses are also available, letting parties sample a wide spread of Chinese dishes at a relaxed pace.
